It’s that time of month again… No! The happy time, the one where you get fresh catchy new tunes!

This episode sees us taking in lots of strong returns from some familiar faces. The consistently good Lewis Del Mar, Husbands, Goth Babe, Jadu Heart and Allan Rayman feature some really good new songs.

The evergreen Sufjan Stevens has served up another delectable treat, that is highly worth kicking back to; along with an indie pop gem from new kid Aodhan. He is literally a kid, you would not even know he is 17 years old from the quality of his songwriting.

We also have some solo projects from some members of familiar heavy hitters. Jae Laffer, frontman of one of my all time favourite folk-rock bands – The Panics; and Romy, who is the female vocalist from The XX; have delivered in a big way.

One of the weirdest things in this episode is a song from a guy who you might remember. Remember that movie ‘Into The Wild’, about the guy who burned his money and his car and moved to live in a bus in Alaska, eventually dying from food poisoning? Well the actor who played him – Emile Hirsch – makes seriously A grade electro music! Honestly check it out.

Finally of note, is the return of the OG drum’n’bass masters Pendulum! Their song Nothing For Free absolutely pumps!

Peace and love til next episode.
