This episode sees us catching up with a seemingly rare vein of amazing quality albums. We have been known to lament the recent downturn in high quality, cover to cover albums being released. Lately, its safe to say we can eat our words, as the likes of Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Holy Ghost, No Mono, Sticky Fingers, Leif Erikson and Chelou have been killing it. We do realise we were a little late on the uptake of a couple of those releases, but if you think we’re gonna ignore it cos we momentarily missed it, well, ya mums ya dad.
There are the usual smattering of newbs, exerting their impressive muscle on the scene. How about 0171? Inventively named, and really pushing boundaries. How rare is it, in this day and age, to hear something that you’ve practically never heard before? Mad props.
Anyway, hows that weird stuff that you’re into going? Sweet.
