Well, what a year for music has 2015 been. In addition to highlights from the best albums we took in this year, there is always a multitude of epic songs released by up and coming bands, experimental artists, one-off side projects / collaborations, one hit wonders and established groups previewing an upcoming release. Here’s where we indulge our love for the best songs of the year, based only on the strength of the individual song…

If you’ve been following the big Australian public countdown of the year’s top 100 songs for a while, you may have noticed that the quality of music has significantly dropped in recent years. Well here is your alternative soundtrack to any festivities that may occur, where the quality of every single song is guaranteed!
