The Breakdown turns 30… and what a dirty 30 it was! For this special episode I devoted a full hour to MYSTERY SONG OF THE WEEK. The crew showed up in force, all armed with ipods, and everyone got to select a song or 2 to play, and we had some gems in there all right! It was a great afternoon and I think everyone enjoyed themselves and music, well music knowledge, was the winner.
Apart from that, I showcased a bunch of great stuff too. Au Palais is a Canadian brother sister duo who I am loving at the moment. I am still rocking and very much enjoying albums/EPs from The Maccabees, Haim and M83. Also threw in a semi new gem from the powerhouse that is The Glitch Mob, and another tasty morsel from Pretty Lights.
