Welcome to another installment of the Breakdown. In this episode I played a gangbuster of sweet new tunes, to an adoring crowd at Doc Branagans in Creekside, Whistler. No sooner had I finished busting the tunes, than we went downstairs to the creekside underground to play some ball hockey and have a  BBQ for Caleb the Blue Duck’s birthday. A great night was had by all.

The best to come from the past couple of weeks for me has been the discovery of The Limousines, a band that reminds me a lot of Passion Pit, Ou Est le Swimming Pool and Kids of 88. Their track Dancing at Her Funneral (sic) is an amazing, deeply cutting and moving song, while also being a great listen. New Animal is another sweet new band, which by all accounts are kicking mad goals while staying completely independent.

New tracks from established bands The Drums, Yuck and Cults are also included. Enjoy! This one is a good one…
